To commemorate the 100th Anniversary of Shackleton’s 1914 heroic Trans Antarctic Expedition, a limited- edition coffee table book featuring exquisite imagery of the photographers from the Elysium Epic expedition to the Antarctic and South Georgia was rproduced. From over 10,000 images, the pictorial tribute encapsulated the finest pictures of the 2010 photographic epic by 57 expedition members comprising of some of the world’s finest image makers such as Ernie Brooks, David Doubilet, Jennifer Hayes, Michael AW, Emory Kristof, Amos Nachoum, Wyland, Jenny Ross, Steve Jones and Davide Vezzaro.
Only 1914 copies of the limited edition have been released; this fine art production is printed using the state-of-the-art production technique by Colourscan Singapore, reputed to produce books of superlative quality. This 100th Anniversary tribute was launched at the Elysium Epic exhibition at the Australian National Maritime Museum, Sydney 12th April 2013.
