Adding to this richness, the Sea of Japan boasts high oxygen concentrations that sustain more than 800 species of aquatic plants, making it one of the world’s most biologically diverse marine environments.
The Aquatic Wonders of Japan Expedition will take you to the heart of this extraordinary marine realm, exploring three key locations off Suruga Bay, just a few hours from Tokyo. Suruga Bay, renowned for its remarkable depths, is a hidden gem brimming with unique marine life seldom seen by even the most seasoned divers. During our reconnaissance dives, we were left utterly amazed by the breathtaking diversity and beauty of these waters—a discovery truly worthy of celebration.
