Hello Everyone
We are less than a year from the most important expedition of this century; it is an expedition like no other. An unprecedented epic to the last pristine wilderness of on planet – the Antarctic Climate Epic Expedition (ACE)
With Dr Sylvia Earle as Chief of the expedition & Capt Don Walsh as Chief Advisor, we have garnered a brain trust assembled from all over the world; artists, biologists, photographers, musicians, economists, engineers, doctors, oceanographers, geologist, young entrepreneurs, writers – extraordinary passionate people that are willing to use their mighty powers, to move us from where we are to get to a better place concerning our influence on global climate. The expedition team for this most important climate summit is comprised of conservationists, celebrities, and ocean luminaries.
The the mission of ACE is to confront the consequences of the climate crisis and develop creative strategies for everyone to radically reduce carbon emissions – the principal outcome from the project is the development of 23 resolutions to inspire transformative changes to achieve global net-zero emissions by 2035.
The cover story for our next edition is about the ocean genome – Covid 19 fighters from the Sea by our amazing feature editor Cheryl Lyn Dybas. Find out more about how our ocean has helped heal this pandemic.
