Unfurling in the Hands of Climate Change
Many of the polar juxtapositions are best encountered along the Antarctic Peninsula. This 1,500 kilometre spit of land stretches from the Antarctic mainland up towards the tip of South America, from which it is separated by one of history’s most infamous stretches of ocean: The Drake Passage. It is hard to find any other place on Earth where the beauty and raw, gnarly power of nature clash on such a tremendous scale as they do along the Antarctic Peninsula.
